Bert Nichols Hut and elevated toilet on the Overland Track in Tasmania
From Bert Nichols Hut in Windy Ridge, it was a nice, cruisy 9 km hike that gradually worked its way down to where the Narcissus River met Lake St Clair, taking about 3-4 hours. There were lots of boardwalks to keep it easy and plenty of wildflowers along the way. One of the cooler parts was crossing a pedestrian suspension bridge to get over the Narcissus River.
